Since 1971
John made his first custom ring in March of 1971 and has been creating beautiful, one of a kind pieces of jewelry ever since. He started Purvis Jewelers Inc. on November 18, 1974 as a full service jewelry store, including repair work, appraisals, retail jewelry sales and custom work. On February 16, 2019, he and his wife Pam closed their doors to retire after nearly 45 years in the retail jewelry business. Custom designing jewelry is in his blood, and he plans to continue making custom jewelry for his customers for as long as he can.
John will no longer do appraisals or repair work but will still make custom pieces for clients by appointment only. Let him create a beautiful piece for you in either gold or platinum to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, graduation, Christmas, Valentine’s Day or just because. He still has a large collection of loose diamonds and colored gemstones as well as rings, pendants, earrings and bracelets.
